I know, I know - my blog usually covers my Influenster Voxboxes, but I thought I'd branch out! Yesterday, I received my bzzkit from my latest bzzcampaign - if you aren't familiar with bzzagent.com, I highly recommend that you check them out! Here's a little background info about them from their website:

I've only used it once, but so far, so good! It smells great, lathers well, and, if I do say so myself, m hair looked extra fabulous today! It has argan oil in it, which delivers long lasting shine to keep your hair looking sleek for 3 days- even in 97% humidity! It's reasonably priced (the line ranges from $3.99-$6.99) and you can get it any any mass retailer like Target, Walmart, Walgreens, etc.
In addition, the packaging contains PET and 30% recycled plastic- they're 10% lighter, which saves over 125 tons of plastic every year- who wouldn't love that?

Venus & Olay Razor
In my LoveBox from www.influenster .com, I received a Venus and Olay razor to test out - let me tell you - at first glance, this thin intimidated me! It looked HUGE! It has 5 (yes -FIVE!!!) blades, plus moisture strips on the top AND bottom! How crazy is that?
(Apologies for the crappy lighting - it doesn't do the product justice!) This razor is amazing the first time I used it, I could hardly feel it gliding against my skin - I thought 'wait a minute, is this thing even doing anything?" But let me tell you - it WAS - no need for shaving gel, it let my legs amazing smooth and soft. And with the temps in TX already in the mid 80's, I have a feeling this little razor will be getting a LOT of use over the next few months.
Oh, and another thing I love - it came with a little suction cup holder that you can attach to your shower wall - genius!

They are a little pricey ($8.99 - $10.99 for a starter pack w/ one cartridge, $14.99 - $19.49 for a a3 pack of replacement cartridges) but I promise you - it's worth every penny!
Kiss Nail Dress
So, you might recall from a previous post that I have horrible nails - they don't grow, I'm always picking at them - blech! I recently had the opportunity recently to try ANOTHER no muss, no fuss nail product - In my LoveBox from influenster.com, I received Kiss Nail Dress - it's like a nail polish sticker - you just peel, apply, and you're ready to go - in theory, they are supposed to last 10 DAYS! I plan to put that to the test!
Isn't that pattern fabulous! I little more "out there" than I usually go, but I think it will be fun for a night out! Who know? Maybe I can rock it at work too! They come in 18 different styles - some of them have gorgeous sparkly jewels that create a 3-d effect! (ok, is my inner girly girl showing?)
I love the fact that you can get these at stores that most people have easy access to, live CVS, Walgreen and Walmart - and for $6.99, the price can't be beat!

Ghirardelli Gourmet Milk Chocolate
Oh. My. God. I'm not a chocolate person by any stretch of the imagination, but this stuff is *good*, As I continue my journey of discovery through the LoveBox I received from www.influenster.com, I come across a Gharardelli Gourmet Milk Chocolate bar....wow!
It is sooooo rich and creamy! It absolutely just melts in your mouth, and isn't overwhelming sweet. A girl could get used to this! They have 3 flavors in the collection - Milk Creamy Devotion (which I received), Gourmet Milk Sea Salt Escape (sea salt and roasted almonds) and Gourmet Milk Coconut Rendezvous (toasted coconut flakes). Since my LoveBox includes a copuon for $1 off 2 chocolate bars, I have a feeling I'll be trying the other flavors very soon!

Truvía® natural sweetener Product Review
I'm on a product testing roll today - so excited that my LoveBox from http://www.influenster.com/ has finally arrived! Next up is Truvia - a natural, zero calorie sweetener.
I'm intrigued by this - apparently, it's made from the leaves of a stevia plant (I have no idea what that is!) - one packet is the equvilant of two teaspoons of sugar. The texture is more like that of real sugar than other artificial sweeteners - which I like. It seems like it's sweeter than Splenda (which I normally use) - I only used half a packet in my Stash Lemon Ginger tea - a little bit seems to go a long way!

Since today is such a cold and rainy day, I figured it was a good time to sample some of the Stash Herbal Tea I received - the box contained 18 teabags (9 flavors, 2 bags of each). Disclaimer - not a *huge* tea drinker. I mean, we do drink a lot of iced tea down here in TX, but not so much on the hot stuff.....but I'm going to give this a whirl - the flavors sound *amazing*:
Acai Berry
Blueberry Superfruit
Chamomile
Cinnamon Apple Chamomile
Licorice Spice
Mango Passion fruit
Peppermint
Lemon Ginger
Wild Raspberry Hibiscus
Right now, I'm drinking the lemon ginger....and it smells and tastes fantastic! The only flavor that I probably won't like/try is licorice spice - not a big licorice fan.

Another opportunity from Influenster?!?
Haven't even received my LoveBox yet (shipping delays due to severe weather in the mid-west) and I've already been pre-selected for another opportunity! This one sounds more like the chance to try a single product, as opposed to a themed box - either way, I'm excited! This is what the email invitation said:
"We are contacting you because you have been pre-selected to try a brand new household product! If you have interest in testing this complimentary product before it hits the shelves, please click on the link below and answer a few questions on your current household routine.
Members who officially qualify for this program will be notified by March 12th. And as a bonus, those who get selected to test this brand new product will also be able to increase their chances to participate in our upcoming Mom VoxBox program"
Based on the survey questions, it sounds like the product will be some kind of dish soap (most of the questions asked about dish washing habits - how often do you wash dishes by hand, what dish soap do you currently use, how often do you keep your sponge, etc)
We'll see if I get selected.....though I'm pretty sure my participation isn't going to increase my chances of getting a MomBox, since I don't have any kids!

Love Box - Sneak Peak!
As much as I want to be surprised about the latest VoxBox from Influenster, I can't stop looking for clues! Love is in the air!
What a great Valentine's surprise! I learned yesterday that I pre-qualified for Influenster's latest VoxBox - the LoveBox! I just RSVP'd - they'll be sending out the final notifications on the 17th. They gave a little preview of what they box would include - a hair removal product, a manicure product, a beverage, a snack and a sweetener - and during their Twitter party, they suggested there would also be something "sparkly"....hmmmm.....I'll keep you posted!
